emma has been picking up the phone and chatting a lot lately - but whenever i try to catch her on film, she just kinda stops. did manage to get a bit of it on this video - you' ll have to listen real closely to hear her speaking in martian though :)

happy 11th birthday furbaby!
those of you who know me well will know that it was with a heavy heart that i had to leave my furbaby coco back in sg when we relocated here 2 yrs back. there isnt a day that i dont think about her, and how much she would've enjoyed being here with us - especially during the colder months.
sadly though, she'll have to continue suffering the warm sg climate because she's just turned 11 yrs old today and frankly, i dont wanna have to subject her to all that stress associated with 7 hr flight, 1-mth quarantine... the vets have also advised us against relocating her due to her age.
we can only look forward to seeing her when we go back for visits. i just hope she never forgets us. cos i know i never will.
Happy Birthday, my dearest Coco!!! Mommy misses you very very much :(

a day at the south melbourne markets
we hadn't been there for quite a while, so we thought we'd just bundle the kids up and take a leisurely drive to the markets for a bit of a change. had a lovely lunch there and also managed to pick up some fresh produce. it's certainly a refreshing change from our usual weekends :)
